The documents people split are usually the private kind: a mortgage pack, a contract where only the signature page matters, a scan of a passport or a payslip. Filexum never asks you to hand any of it over. The pages are separated by code that runs on your own device, so a bank statement you are pulling apart stays with you from start to finish. Switch off the network and it still works, which tells you everything. Here is how we can't see your files.

Is it safe to split a bank statement or a contract here?
Yes. Splitting happens inside your browser, on your device, and the PDF is never uploaded, so even a full year of statements stays private while you pull one month out. Confirm it by watching the Network tab stay empty, or read our privacy page: how we can't see your files.
How do I split only certain pages?
Type page ranges such as 1-3, 7, 20- in the ranges box. Each range becomes its own PDF. An open end like 20- means page 20 to the last page, and ranges beyond the document are simply ignored.
Can I turn every page into its own file?
Yes. Choose the every-page option and a 40-page PDF becomes 40 separate one-page PDFs, named in order, which you can download together as a single .zip.
Will a huge PDF crash my browser?
No. Pages are processed and written one at a time and released as they go, so even a several-hundred-page or 200 MB document splits without exhausting memory. You can stop at any point and keep whatever finished.
Do the split pages keep their original quality?
Exactly. Each page is copied out untouched, with its text, fonts and images preserved. Nothing is re-rendered or compressed during a split.
Is my document uploaded to be split?
No, never. There is no server in the loop. The whole operation runs locally, so no file, page or filename leaves your machine at any stage.
Does splitting work offline and on mobile?
Both. Because nothing is sent anywhere, it keeps working with the Wi-Fi off, and it runs in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers.
